Our wedding weekend coincides with the Festival of Flowers in Antigua, Guatemala—one of the city’s most special and vibrant events of the year.

For this reason, we strongly recommend booking flights, accommodations, and additional services (such as transportation, hair, makeup, etc.) as early as possible to ensure availability and the best options.

Antigua will be especially lively and full of energy that weekend, and planning ahead will help make your experience much more comfortable and stress-free.

Your flight will arrive in Guatemala City at La Aurora International Airport.

From there, transportation to Antigua, Guatemala will need to be arranged. The drive takes approximately one hour, depending on traffic.

- The reception will be held at Jardín Real de Santiago .

The distance between the two locations is approximately a 12 minute walk or 6 minutes by car . We will provide shuttle transportation for guests who need it.

As this weekend coincides with the Festival of Flowers , there will be increased foot traffic throughout the city. Our team will guide guests following the ceremony and will do our best to use the clearest routes possible for your comfort.

What type of footwear do you recommend?

Antigua’s cobblestone streets can be uneven, so we recommend wearing comfortable and sturdy footwear .
We suggest avoiding thin heels when walking around the city.

What day should we arrive?

We recommend arriving on Thursday, November 12 .

Fridays tend to have heavier-than-usual traffic, so if you plan to arrive that day, we suggest doing so early.
